KARA ELIZABETH ART
Kara Elizabeth is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores identity, transformation, and spiritual awakening through vibrant color, rich texture, and layered storytelling. With a signature style that blends technical skill and intuitive flow, she creates emotionally resonant, visually striking pieces using ripped paper, acrylic, watercolor, and gold leaf. A longtime educator, Kara sees art as a bridge—to connect, empower, and tell the stories that live in our bones. Her work invites viewers to feel, to remember, and to rise.
divine mother SERIES
A multimedia series created in 2025
This collection is a calling home. Each portrait is a tribute to the Divine Feminine in her fullest expression—healer, oracle, vessel, mother. Women of many lineages, seen through the lens of light, each color carrying its own unique frequency. Adorned in power, radiant with knowing, keepers of the hidden flame. Protectors. Initiators. Guides. Warriors of Spirit, returning to Earth to light the path for the daughters who have forgotten their way. They speak without noise. They lead without force. Each gaze a transmission of love and healing. This is a return to origin. A mirror reflecting the light of the Creator. An invitation to remember. A ceremony of sacred wisdom. A rejection of false idols. A reclamation of spirit over spectacle. A sanctuary in visual form.

High Street SERIES
An oil on canvas series created in 2006
This series returns to my hometown of Morgantown, WV—where I first learned how to run: from pain, from truth, from myself. I was forced to grow up too fast, burdened with responsibilities too heavy for a child to carry. As a teenager, I numbed my sadness with drugs and distractions, disappearing into the void. During this time in my life, I was restless, reckless, and out of control. Before there was healing, before there was light, there was this: the beginning of my unraveling.

culture SERIES
A multimedia series created in 2024
Inspired by my time in South Africa, these vibrant layers of torn paper represent rhythm, frequency, and the pulse of a people—something ancient and electric that can be felt in the air. This collection explores the visual expression of culture—an embodied narrative spoken through movement and storytelling. Each gesture tells a deeper story—body language as a mother tongue, expressive and alive, passed down through generations. Gold leaf honors the adornment that is both style and symbol. These portraits are a homage to presence, to stories told not just with words, but with the whole self.

ESSENCE SERIES
A watercolor series created in 2017
“She is an heiress. Royalty is her birthright. Remind her of the crown that she wears, a gift that was already given to her. Lift her up. Honor her. The entire Universe resides in her DNA. Her spirit, her nature, her purpose is already written in the stars. She is an oracle. Her very essence is a gift to the world.”
